History

Almost every community has some problem with bandits and highwaymen, but Iánv-īrt Rudnoplu is seriously plagued with raiders. One or more groups of persistent plunderers are hitting the community repeatedly, and they lack the necessary resources to fend them off or protect all their holdings.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, Iánv-īrt Rudnoplu was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Iánv-īrt Rudnoplu lost 265 people, 382 livestock, and 91 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 193, when members of Iánv-īrt Rudnoplu's militia enacted an operation to defend a particular general, and ensure they remain out of enemy hands. The operation was complicated by the army being put into a position where they could only choose between two terrible options. The conflict ended with a last stand against the enemy until a particular event occurred, which ended in defeat for Iánv-īrt Rudnoplu's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Iánv-īrt Rudnoplu's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
